Spring Barrel Tasting
My perfect weekend would be spent in Yakima Valley during the annual Spring Barrel Tasting. Not only is the weather at this time of year picture perfect, but also the barrel tasting allows me to get a sneak preview of the new wines being introduced. Spend a relaxing weekend touring the some of the many wineries of the region. They each have something unique to offer. The Tasting Room is fabulous: there is a gorgeous view of the hills of Yakima from its cute little cottage of a wine tasting room. Eaton Hills has the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the valley. Bonair Winery is a beautiful location to set up a picnic, with a nice shady spot and picturesque koi pond! Terra Blanca Vintners has a gorgeous patio and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
